Vegan Brownies

Brilliant Brownies

1 cup wholemeal or spelt flour

1/2 cup LSA meal (linseed, sunflower seed, almond) or almond meal

1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted

pinch of sea salt

2 tsps vanilla extract

1/2 cup macadamia oil

3/4 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup low fat soy or rice milk

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 180°C.

In a mixing bowl combine flour, LSA meal, coca powder and sea salt. Add macadamia oil, vanilla, maple syrup and soy milk.

Stir until combined, then fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.

Spoon into a square 15cm baking pan lined with baking paper.

Bake for 35 or 40 minutes, or until just cooked (do not overbake or the brownies will be dray). Place on a rack and allow to cool completely before slicing into 20 bars. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Enjoy!:)

Recipe is from "House & Garden" Magazine.

Ovo predobro izgleda. Iako sam daleko od vegana ne bi imala ništa protiv ovih browniesa. :)
I da stvar bude još bolja mislim da sve sastojke mogu nabaviti u Zg.:)

These brownies look so moist. Interesting that they have maple syrup in them. Must be very delicious.
